1. Scope and acceptance
By creating an account or using authenticated Edict IQ functionality, you agree to these Terms of Service. Public pages can be browsed without an account, but their use remains subject to the applicable legal and acceptable-use boundaries described here.
If you use Edict IQ on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to use the service for that organisation and to provide the information you submit.
2. What Edict IQ provides
Edict IQ is a regulatory intelligence and impact workspace. It connects official-source regulatory information with monitoring, interpretation, prioritisation, decisions, actions and evidence workflows.
Features, coverage depth, limits and availability can differ between public access, Free, Monitor, Professional and Organisation usage and may evolve as the service develops.
3. Professional judgement
Edict IQ is a decision-support product. It does not provide legal advice, regulatory approval, certification, accounting advice or investment advice, and it does not replace qualified professional judgement.
Automated or model-supported summaries, classifications, suggestions and impact analysis can contain errors or uncertainty. Users remain responsible for reviewing material decisions, source evidence and outputs before relying on them.
4. Accounts and access
- You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your email or external identity provider secure.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless unauthorised use is promptly reported and attributable to a failure outside your reasonable control.
- Workspace access, roles and invitations must only be granted to people who are authorised to access the relevant organisation data.
- Edict IQ may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, data, security, legal compliance or service integrity.
5. Your workspace data
You retain responsibility for the organisation context, notes, decisions, evidence references and other content you submit to Edict IQ. You grant Edict IQ the limited rights necessary to host, process, secure, back up and display that content in order to provide the service.
You must not submit data that you are not authorised to use or that would make use of the service unlawful. Sensitive information should only be added where the relevant workspace feature and your organisation's own policies permit it.
6. Official sources and third-party content
Edict IQ links to or references regulatory authorities and other third-party sources. Those sources remain under the control of their respective publishers. Source availability, wording or publication status may change independently of Edict IQ.
Where Edict IQ provides citations or source links, users should consult the underlying official material for high-impact decisions and retain appropriate evidence for their own governance requirements.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to bypass authentication, authorisation, tenant separation, plan limits or security controls.
- Do not probe, disrupt or overload the service except through an explicitly authorised security-testing or disclosure process.
- Do not use Edict IQ to upload malware, unlawful material or content that infringes third-party rights.
- Do not resell, scrape or systematically reproduce protected parts of the service in a way that exceeds ordinary product use or an agreed integration right.
8. Free and paid plans
Edict IQ may provide a permanent Free workspace and optional paid plans. Paid features, billing cycles, taxes, renewal rules, cancellation rights and plan limits are shown in the applicable purchase flow or order terms before a charge is created.
A time-limited evaluation of paid functionality, where offered, does not remove the separately available Free workspace unless the relevant product notice expressly says otherwise.
9. Intellectual property
Edict IQ, its software, product design, analysis structures, brand assets and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of Edict IQ intellectual property.
Regulatory texts and third-party materials remain subject to the rights and terms of their respective publishers.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to operate Edict IQ reliably, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance, provider incidents, source-site changes, security events or legal requirements can affect availability.
We may improve, replace or discontinue individual features where reasonably necessary. Material changes affecting paid commitments will be handled in line with the applicable purchase or contract terms.
11. Ending use of the service
You may stop using public or Free functionality at any time and may request account deletion subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable retention obligations. Paid subscriptions can be cancelled in accordance with the terms shown in the applicable purchase flow or order.
We may terminate or restrict access for material breach, unlawful use, security risk or non-payment where applicable, subject to any mandatory legal or contractual requirements.
12. Liability and mandatory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer, data-protection or other rights where exclusion is prohibited by law. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Edict IQ is not responsible for decisions made solely on unverified automated output, failures of external official-source websites, or third-party services outside Edict IQ's reasonable control.
Any additional liability limits for paid or separately negotiated services should be set out in the applicable order or negotiated agreement.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will remain available at this URL. Where required, material changes will be communicated before they take effect.
