EBA Finalizes Reporting Framework 4.3 for Third-Country Branches and AMLA Risk Assessment
The European Banking Authority (EBA) published the final technical package for version 4.3 of its reporting framework on 9 July 2026. This package implements new supervisory reporting requirements for Third-Country Branches (TCBs) under Article 48l(1) of the Capital Requirements Directive (CRD), with a first reference date of 31 March 2027. It also introduces data point model components to support the Anti-Money Laundering Authority's (AMLA) risk assessment data collection, effective from 31 December 2026. The release includes validation rules, XBRL taxonomies, and a new Glossary Usage Exploration file to facilitate interpretation.
